Maddy McZant is an Ōtautahi comedian, born and bred. After jumping into stand-up comedy 18 months ago, Maddy has decided that it is time to strike out on their own.
‘Let’s Feel Happy For an Hour’ is a hilarious comedy show that will have you holding your side and maybe wiping a tear from your eye. It depends on how you laugh I guess.
Maddy loves sharing stories. Whether it is about their wife’s adorable tiny head or passive-aggressive comments on the patriarchy, you’ll be able to imagine it like you were there.
“Her wit, dryer than the plains of Canterbury from December to February, had the audience cackling.” – Backstage Christchurch.
Nominated by Good Times Comedy Club for Best newcomer to Comedy in 2020

We’re right in the middle of the Terrace… Find Oxford lane (between Terrace Tavern and Amazonita), then go up the stairs behind Little Fiddle, or go up the elevator between Bangalore Polo Club and Amazonita. You can also access it from Shands Lane. Once you’re up the stairs, look for the Little Andromeda sandwich board, or our windows which have Little Andromeda written all over them!
It’s about a block from the bus exchange, and if you are bringing your car then there is a brand new carpark next door; type 92 Hereford Street into your GPS!
